We Rise
We RISE, USA empowers survivors of human trafficking by providing support and resources to help them on their healing journeys. Using respect and compassion we work to uplift and inspire survivors to become thrivers and leaders.
In partnership with the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking*(NJCAHT), We RISE USA has created a dedicated Survivor Assistance Fund to provide help to survivors who are making the sometimes-difficult journey to becoming thrivers. When a financial emergency arises such as car trouble, a rent shortfall, or other crisis occurs, the fund can help stop that emergency from derailing a survivor on their healing journey.
Examples of the help the Survivor Assistance Fund has given recently includes emergency transportation, a few days of emergency housing, tuition support, help paying for medication, and emergency food relief. Payments are made to the rental agency, academic institution, utility company etc. on behalf of the individual.
